Rehearsals Tues & Frid, 7.30-9.30pm

Have you ever thought what it would be like to appear on the same bill as Bryn Terfel, Shirley Bassey or Katherine Jenkins; not just appear with them but actually sing with them? Have you considered what it's like to sing to Royalty or to greet the Pope in the traditionally Welsh welcoming way, with song? Could you, even in your wildest dreams, even contemplate entertaining a capacity audience in the Royal Albert Hall? Have you had your fifteen minutes of fame by appearing on national TV, or by encouraging our national Rugby team in international competition in the Millennium Stadium or even in the Bloemfontein stadium in South Africa?
Telephone: The Secretary: Ray Street - 01656 771214. Alternatively fill in the form below and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Your email will not be used for spamming and will not be divulged to third parties.

Could you visualise entertaining German, French, Dutch or Spanish audiences, many of whom would perhaps not understand the English words you were singing never mind the Welsh? Not only to entertain them but to have standing ovations from them and to forge long standing friendships with them through the international language of music.

Well I can tell you that many, if not all the choristers of Porthcawl Male Choir, often in conjunction with other choirs, have experienced all of these, and many of these opportunities can be open to you simply by joining us. Don't think you can't sing because everyone can sing, maybe not on their own, but certainly in a group, and in a choir it's the collective sound that is important. You would be advised as which of the four sections of the choir would best suit you. The ability to read music is not a requirement; few of us can, but you would be shown how to follow the score. Young or old, you are all welcome. Why not give it a try? We meet each Tuesday and Friday from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm at the Presbyterian Church in Arlington Road, no obligation, no pressure, just a warm welcome. Oh and by the way, why not bring a friend?
